Resizes a batch of images to a target size, either one of the presets or your own dimensions. Fit inside the box, fill it, or force an exact size.
The Storyline stage is 1280 by 720 by default. A full-width image in Rise displays at roughly a thousand pixels, a half-width one at five hundred. Nobody carries those numbers around, so images get left at whatever size they arrived, and a four-thousand-pixel photograph in a five-hundred-pixel slot is sixty times the bytes for an identical picture.
Scaling a four-hundred-pixel image up to 1280 produces a file three times the size and a picture that is visibly softer. That is the worst of both outcomes, so images already at or below the target are left at their own size unless you tick the box. It is the one default here that regularly surprises people, and it is the right one.
It does not crop intelligently. Fill and crop takes from the centre, which is right for a texture and wrong for a portrait with the face off to one side. For anything where the composition matters, crop it properly first and resize afterwards.
